Joelle is an award-winning film editor with 20+ years of experience crafting intimate, character-driven documentaries, TV series, films, and high-end commercials.​

​

Her work has featured on ABC, SBS, Amazon Prime, Doc Play, Stan and Apple TV, and has been showcased at major film festivals.

​

Originally from France, she moved to Australia to study at the Victorian College of the Arts and began her career at Karl Marks Films (now The Editors) in Sydney, where she honed her craft and further developed her passion for storytelling through film.

​

Her editing credits include:

  • Habana Shakes (Best Film, 2023 Byron Bay International Film Festival)

  • Tommy (Best Editor at Long Story Shorts & Focus Film Festival)

  • The Season (3-part ABC factual series, directed by Lisa Hiller)

  • China's Artful Dissident (nominated for the 2019 Documentary Walkley Award)

  • Mother ( AACTA Social Shorts, official selection MIFF 2015 and Berlin Interfilm Festival)

  • Ageless ( 8 part factual series for channel Nine)

  • Wild Kitchen (ABC series, nominated for a Logie Award)
